Rise and shine! We will gather at the hotel lobby at 3.30am and begin the day at 4am with the early morning prayer meeting at Yoido Full Gospel Church. Transport will be provided for this.

Spend the rest of the day at your leisure but remember that we will dig into a sumptuous Welcome Lunch/Dinner hosted by Pastor Kong for the entire team. More details on this coming soon!

Itinerary

We’re off to a brand new day once again. Gather at the hotel lobby at 3.30am and set off for the 4am early morning prayer meeting at Yoido Full Gospel Church. Prepare for an exciting day as we head out to the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) after the prayer meeting where we will uncover the history of the Korean War and the Cold War on the guided DMZ tour.

Enjoy lunch together at Osanri Choi Jashil Memorial Fasting Prayer Mountain, a Christian retreat dedicated for intensified prayer. A highlight will be time spent in the Dr Yonggi Cho Memorial Hall. Bask in the presence of God that resides strongly in this facility as we come together for an evening chapel session led by Pastor Kong.

Itinerary

We will assemble afresh at 3.30am at the hotel lobby and set out to the 4am early morning prayer meeting at Yoido Full Gospel Church. We will continue at Yoido Full Gospel Church for the mid-week service at 10am. Savour the rest of the day at leisure to explore Seoul’s sights and attractions.

Itinerary

It is the last day to be blessed and fill up your spiritual tank at the 4am early morning prayer meeting. Arrive at the hotel lobby nice and early at 3.30am as we make our way to Yoido Full Gospel Church. Have fun for the rest of the day till we see you again at the Farewell Lunch/Dinner hosted by Pastor Kong for the entire team.

Itinerary

Finally, a day to sleep in and laze about. You deserve it! Take in the sights of Seoul and spend the day free and easy till check out time at 11am. Be all packed and ready to leave on your own pre-arranged transport back to Incheon International airport. We hope you had an amazing time on this trip. See you back in Singapore and in church!

1. How do I register for the trip?

Registration opens on 15 July 2024, Monday, at 12pm, and will close once the maximum number of participants is reached. Do sign up here quickly to avoid disappointment.  

2. What are the accepted payment methods?

To ensure a streamlined payment process, only Visa and Mastercard payments will be accepted.

3. Can I register for the trip on behalf of my cell group members?

You may register on behalf of your cell group member(s). However, please note that each applicant may only register for a maximum of 3 rooms.

4. I was on the waitlist for Prayer Week in Seoul 2024. How do I get priority booking for Prayer Week in Seoul 2025?

Those on the Prayer Week in Seoul 2024 waitlist will receive an email with instructions on how to register for Prayer Week in Seoul 2025.

5. What are the packages offered for this trip?

All who want to register for the trip MUST select the Land Package (without air ticket and airport transfer). You may choose to add the Flight Bundle to your Land Package. The Flight Bundle is optional. The Flight Bundle consists of round-trip air tickets from Singapore to Seoul, and airport transfers in Seoul.

6. How do I know if I have successfully registered for the trip?

Upon registration, you will be requested to make payment. Once FULL payment is completed, you will receive a subsequent email confirming that your registration is successful. We regret that we are unable to process partial payments.

7. My passport is up for renewal. May I register for the trip using my existing passport details, and thereafter, update my details when my passport is renewed?

Yes, you may update your passport details after registration. Please renew your passport as soon as possible and furnish us with your updated passport details via korea2025@chc.org.sg. Do ensure you have at least 6 months validity on your passport at the time of travel.

8. When does the early bird discount end?

The discount will be available to all participants who register and make full payment by 9 Sep 2024, Monday.

9. If I sign up for the early bird discount and want to include an additional person in my registration, will he/she be eligible for the early bird discount as well?

If you sign up for the early bird discount and wish to add another individual into your registration after 9 Sep 2024, Monday, please note that he/she will not be eligible for the early bird discount.

10. I’ve registered for the trip. Is it possible to include additional person(s) to my application (regardless of my payment status)?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate the addition of extra person(s) to an existing application. In order to include additional individual(s), you will need to forfeit your current application and submit a fresh registration on behalf of the entire group. Kindly note that this will require starting the registration anew for all individuals involved.

11. I will be in Seoul on a personal/business trip during that period. May I meet up with the team and join in some of the activities?

The planned itinerary and group size allow for only some activities to be open to non-registered participants. You are welcome to join us for the following activities (you will need to arrange your own transport):

12. What is included in the Land Package?

14. Are airfares included in the Land Package?

Airfares are not included in the Land Package. You will need to arrange own flight to Seoul according to your preferences. You may choose to add on the Flight Bundle which is separate cost that includes air tickets and airport transfer (see Q5).

15. Are airport transfers to and from the hotel included in the Land Package?

Airport transfers are not included in the Land Package. You will need to make your own arrangements from Incheon International Airport to the hotel and back. You may choose to add on the Flight Bundle which is a separate cost that includes air tickets and airport transfer (see Q5).

16. If I bring my child to the trip, does he/she need to pay?

We do not offer child rates for this trip. The full price is applicable for children aged 2 years and above, while children under the age of 2 are not subject to any charges. You may refer to Q34 for information regarding child seats for the coach transport.

17. May I request for a baby cot?

Yes, you may request for a baby cot when you register for the trip. They are free of charge but subject to availability. Do note that baby cots are not allowed in the Standard Double and Jumbo Twin Rooms due to space constraints.

18. I have signed up and made the payment for the Land Package, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I am unable to go on the trip. May I request for a refund?

19. When does the Land Package start and end?

The Land Package starts on 12 Jan, Sunday from 3pm (hotel check-in time) and ends officially on 18 Jan 2025, Saturday at 11am (hotel check-out time). Any requests for early check in or late check out should be communicated directly with the hotel.

20. Is there pro-rated pricing available if I am unable to attend one of the scheduled highlights of the trip or if I can only join part of the Land Package?

This is a full 7D6N programme with no secondary arrangements for partial participation. Thus we do not offer pro-rated pricing for partial participation as the Land Package is priced according to the planned itinerary of the trip.

21. Will there be a different itinerary/set of activities for those who previously attended Prayer Week in Seoul 2024?

The itinerary for Prayer Week in Seoul 2025 will be similar to Prayer Week in Seoul 2024. Past participants are welcome to join us nonetheless.

Flight Bundle Details

22. Is the Flight Bundle compulsory?

The Flight Bundle is optional. We are offering it to those who would like us to purchase the air tickets and airport transfers on their behalf. Please note that if the Flight Bundle option is selected, it is applicable to all parties in a group registration.

23. How much is the Flight Bundle?

Prices start from S$1,100 to S$2,000 per person. The exact cost will be advised once we receive confirmation from our tour agent.
Due to air ticket price fluctuation and availability, we will do our best to purchase the air tickets at the lowest possible prices available.

24. Does the Flight Bundle offer discounted prices for children?

The Flight Bundle provides discounted prices for children. Infants under the age of 2 will enjoy prices ranging from S$150 to S$300. Children between 2 to 11 years old will enjoy prices ranging from S$780 to S$1,600.

26. I am unable to depart at the time stipulated in the Flight Bundle. May I book another flight?

If you are unable to accommodate the flight time stipulated in the Flight Bundle by the tour agent, you will need to arrange your own flight to Seoul according to your timing preferences.

Accommodation

27. Will I be able to select my preferred hotel or bus for the trip?

Unfortunately, due to planning and logistics, participants will not have the option to choose the hotel or bus they will be assigned to. Participants who sign up as a group will be assigned to the same hotel/bus as the main applicant.

28. May I book my own accommodation elsewhere instead of staying at the designated hotel?

For planning and logistical purposes, we kindly require participants to stay in the designated hotel with the rest of the team.

29. I am planning to extend my stay before/after the trip. Can I book the same hotel for the extended days?

By end-September, we will notify you of the hotel you are allocated to. You may then make your own arrangements with the hotel directly, subject to availability.

30. I am joining the trip by myself. Will I be sharing a room with someone or will I be able to opt for my own room?

You have the option of choosing a single room or finding a roommate(s) of the same gender to share a room.

31. May I request for connecting rooms?

Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer connecting rooms.

32. What room configuration should I book for a family of 3 (E.g. 2 adults and 1 infant/child)?

You may book the Deluxe Twin room or the Jumbo Twin room for a family of more than 2 pax (regardless of age). The Standard Double room can only accommodate up to a maximum of 2 pax (infant/child included).

Transportation

33. Can I arrange for my own transportation to follow the itinerary?

As friendship and bonding are important aspects of this trip, we kindly require participants to travel together for all the scheduled activities (from 13 to 17 Jan 2025, Monday to Friday) outlined in the planned itinerary.

34. Is there a requirement for infant/child seat on the coach?

Infants, as well as children less than 145cm in height are required to be on a child seat. There will be an additional one-time charge of S$102 for the rental of a child seat for the coach transport to the scheduled activities (13 to 17 Jan, Monday to Friday).

Food

35. The schedule states that there will be 1 lunch at the prayer mountain, 1 welcome lunch/dinner and 1 farewell lunch/dinner. Will I need to pay for these meals?

The lunch at the prayer mountain, the welcome lunch/dinner and the farewell lunch/dinner will be hosted by CHC as a time of fellowship with Pastor Kong, the pastoral staff and with one another. You will not need to pay for the above-mentioned meals.

36. Will I be able to make special dietary requests for the welcome and farewell meals?

37. What are some of the breakfast options available?

The Land Package includes daily breakfast at the hotel (except on 14 Jan 2025, Tuesday as we need to depart at 8am for the DMZ and Osanri Choi Jasil Memorial Fasting Prayer Mountain tours). There are also several cafés located near the hotel, such as Starbucks, Paris Baguette, and more. These cafés open at 7am.

38. What are some of the options available for lunch/dinner?

To make the most of your trip, we recommend doing some pre-travel research by exploring food blogs and seeking recommendations on where to go for meals. 39. Will there be Nursery or Harvest Kidz support during the trip?

Miscellaneous

40. Do I need to purchase travel insurance?

You are strongly encouraged to obtain a comprehensive travel insurance policy to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as baggage loss, flight delays, medical emergencies, or changes in government policies such as compulsory quarantines. Do note that travel insurance is not included in the package.

41. When are we expected to arrive on the first day of the trip on 12 Jan 2025, Sunday?

The check-in time is 3pm. You may arrive anytime from then. Our first meeting as a group is on 13 Jan 2025, Monday, at 3.30am for the early morning prayer at Yoido Full Gospel Church. Specific details of the programme will be updated closer to the trip.

42. Will there be a pre-trip briefing for all the participants?
